Who I am
Pilkington Wood ("I", "me") operates this website and runs yoga classes, workshops, retreats and related events. You can contact me at hello@pilkingtonwood.co.uk.
What information I collect
When you contact me — your name and email address from contact forms and enquiries
When you join a waitlist — your name and email address
When you book a class or workshop — your name, email address, booking details, and payment information (processed securely by my booking and payment providers — see below)
Health information — if you choose to disclose injuries or medical conditions relevant to your practice. This is optional and shared only so I can teach safely.
How I use it
To manage bookings, payments, and class attendance
To send you booking confirmations and reminders
To let you know when new classes, workshops, or retreats are announced (only if you've joined a list — you can unsubscribe anytime)
To reply to enquiries
Third parties I use
I don't sell or share your data with advertisers. I use these providers, each with their own privacy policies:
Stripe — card payments (they process your payment details; I never see your full card number)
Squarespace — this website and its forms
Cloudflare / Zoho — email
Instagram/Meta — if you interact with my social media, Meta's policies apply there
Storing your data
Booking and contact records are kept for up to [6 years] for tax and accounting purposes, then deleted. Waitlist details are kept until you ask to be removed.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the information I hold about you, at any time, by emailing hello@pilkingtonwood.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how your data is handled.
